About me
Hi, I'm Mitch Horton.
Before starting SwiftSocial, I was an Electrician and Generac Technician for years.
I started off my professional career as a 3rd generation electrician, with my dad being an electrician of 30 years and my great uncle Charlie, who was actually my dads first electrical employer, being a lifelong electrician himself.
I became Generac certified shortly after entering the trade upon finishing highschool. I spent years doing both residential electrical work, as well as installing, servicing, and repairing home standby generator systems. I worked on primarily Generac generators but some Kohler and Briggs and Stratton as well. In my time in the field I spoke with hundreds of generator owners, and really got a great understanding of the psychology of the people who want these systems, which is something I have been able to leverage extremely well with SwiftSocial.
Nowadays I run advertising campaigns for generator installers all around the country, and I'm really proud to have a positive impact on the same type of folks I used to work with and their businesses. I translated the exact same attitude I had back in the field of prioritizing workmanship, quality, and customer service into this business which unfortunately seems to be rare in the marketing world.
